I want to be a stay at home mom. My five furbabies count, right? I don't want to go back to work tomorrow. I'm dreading going back. I don't even want to go to bed because then it will be time to wake up.
I used to like work. But they changed my job all up starting tomorrow and I don't want it anymore. I liked it the way it was. I like my paycheck. So I guess I'll go to work and make the best of it tomorrow. Maybe it won't be as bad as I think.
I am currently training to be a medical transcriptionist. That's a job that I can do from home. I'll be finished with my training in May, and then if I find a job, I can stay home and work. I'm really looking forward to the time when that can happen.
Is that bad? I mean, I'm still paying on loans from grad school. But I want to stay at home with my kids should I ever be blessed with them.

I'd love to be a stay home mum too. Current partner says 'I just wish you would decide on a career that you really want to do!' And my reply always is, 'I know what I want to do, I want to be a farmers wife', at which point he rolls his eyes. I know I will be able to do it if we have kids, but I sure wish I could get started on it now. So, a longwinded way of saying, no, its not bad, and I'm sure there are quite a few out there in the same boat!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be a stay at home mom. I want to be barefoot and pregnant. That is my goal upon finishing college! lol Now that sounds sad. Why did I get talked into going to college when all I want to do is be a mommy. But they tell me I have to... Apparently sometimes husbands die and then you have to feed the family... Well I still think college is overrated and people shouldn't put so much stock into it... or its graduates! Now they tell me you have to have a Masters... when will it end? Well you know what, I'm getting a bachelors and then I'm done! Barefoot and pregnant, cooking in the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteSo you wanna tell me what they changed about your job that makes you hate it so bad?
We can be stay at home mommies together, we will go to MOPS!
I am fortunate to have a job where I work from home (and I don't want to 'go back' to work today either!) and I am most looking forward to getting to be home with my baby(s?) when I finally get to have them! Hope your day and the changes to your job are better than you anticipated!
